Rosey Cale has been capturing audiences across the UK with her musicality and lyrical honesty since 2014

Rosey Cale Biography

Rosey Cale is a Country Pop artist from Pembrokeshire, South Wales. She has been capturing audiences across the UK with her musicality and lyrical honesty since 2014 and has played festivals such as Focus Wales, The Big Cwtch, The Big Retreat Wales, and Greenman Festival. Her vocal quality has been compared to the likes of Sara Bareilles, Shania Twain and Eva Cassidy.

Her most recently released EP ‘Breathing Fire’ (2021), portrays the true and mysterious side to her personality, and shows a fiercer edge to Rosey’s vocal ability as well as her writing style.

In 2019 Rosey took the lead role of Emmie Price in the Award Winning Musical ‘Eye Of The Storm’ which toured the UK. Not only has Rosey performed in many UK venues and theatres, but she has also performed at the Messe, Berlin and at the Spark Festival in Hong Kong. In the same year she supported Amy Wadge (co-writer of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’) who also cowrote Rosey’s single ‘Whiskey Than Wine’.

In September 2021, Rosey made her first televised appearance on ‘Noson Lawen’ on S4C where she performed her single ‘Keeper’ in Welsh – ‘Ceidwad’.
