This website features The British Country Music Festival. We showcase artists, bands, and songwriters from the British country music and Americana genres. The website features the 2022 festival lineup and the country music festival programme. The British Country Music Festival is a co-production between metropolitan festival producers Fit The Bill and Blackpool Entertainment Company, the operators of the indoor festival’s venue Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

We are the only festival dedicated to putting UK Country & Americana Music artists first.

Country music artists from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, plus country music artists from the Republic of Ireland. Each year we invite one or two grassroots artists from the broader world of country music, including America, Canada, Australia and Europe.

UK Country Music Festival 2022

The festival and website will showcase the current stars of contemporary British country music, and UK Americana influenced acts. The festival provides a performance platform for emerging British country music acts. There will be various performance stages. Some will include sponsors and media sponsors. Singer-songwriters, bands and musicians will be able to Apply To Play at the festival through the website. The British Country Music Festival will welcome traders.

Our Latest News will feature news updates and press releases for The British Country Music Festival. Our Blog page will feature the broader vibrant British country music industry news and opinions. Country music fans are encouraged to interact with the website and social media channels to help shape the festival.

The festival hosts its podcasts No Chords But The Truth, and The British Country Music Festival podcast.

We aim to be the best resource for country music festivals in the UK in 2022. The festival is all about music discovery. It is as important to introduce new, upcoming artists and new music to our fans as it is giving homegrown UK country & Americana artists their first headlining spot.

Country Music Directory

The website is also building a directory of UK based country music. The directory will include country music artists, country music media in the UK, and UK country music gigs. We will also answer “What is country music?” with particular emphasis on the UK country music scene.

Country Music Styles

We programme music from a broad church of country music styles, including traditional country music, contemporary country music, country rock, and country blues. Western swing, Americana music, country pop, bluegrass, gospel, country soul, folk, acoustic and roots music. We embrace and promote the UK’s original singer-songwriter’s talent.
